Senior Hydraulic Engineer

Our client has an immediate requirement for a Senior Hydraulic Engineer to join their team in Manchester, to play a vital role in every aspect of fluid mechanics on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad. �

Responsibilites of�Senior Hydraulic Engineer:

- Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels. �

- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals. �

- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes. �

- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions. �

- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Experience Required for�Senior Hydraulic Engineer:

- Chartered Engineer. �

- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. �

- Sound Knowledge of hydraulic design of water / wastewater treatment plant design, pipeline design, surge analysis, and familiarity with current UK design standards and working practices. �

- Experience of Design & Build. �

- Experience in using industry standard software such as HADES, VARISIM, WANDA.
