Senior Hygiene Operative - Days

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a global food manufacturing business to recruit a Senior Hygiene Operative. This role is key in ensuring the site meets hygiene and food safety standards while leading a�team of operatives to deliver effective cleaning schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate hygiene teams to ensure cleaning tasks are completed to required standards.


• Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and audit standards.


• Ensure cleaning procedures are followed correctly, including chemicals and equipment.


• Conduct hygiene audits, swabbing, and risk assessments to drive improvements.


• Manage staff training, shift planning, and team performance.


• Work closely with production, technical, and H&S teams to resolve hygiene-related issues.

On Offer

• up to �35,000


• Monday to Friday days - 6am till 2pm or 7am till 3pm.


• 6.5/13% pension.


• 34 days AL.
