Senior IT Support Engineer, 2nd & 3rd Line, Witney, £30,000pa - £40,000pa plus benefits: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a leading organisation in the Witney area. With a rich history within their industry, over 100 staff across four locations, this company has been going from strength to strength during the pandemic, recording their best ever year during 2020. Due this growth, their Head of IT is looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer to focus on 2nd & 3rd line support and infrastructure projects.On a daily basis the Senior IT Support Engineer will be working with a diverse set of hardware and software technologies, providing key support to their user base, whilst delivering hardware and infrastructure projects. This is a unique opportunity for a Senior IT Support Engineer to really demonstrate your passion for IT, which in time, may lead onto becoming the IT Manager.About you: The successful Senior IT Support Engineer will need to possess 5 years’ experience within IT Support, ideally covering 2nd and 3rd Line duties. Ideally, you’ll have some form of IT qualification, either BTEC, A Level’s, HND/HNC or Degree. Any IT certifications will enhance your application. In order to succeed within this role, you will need to a good communicator and be able to convey technical issues to non-technical users.You will also possess some of the following IT skills:Desktop and Server HardwareHyper-V / VMwareWindows 10MS Active Directory, MS ServerMS Exchange, MS Office and SQL ServerScripting and .NetUI and Process DesignVisualfiles Case ManagementThis role perfectly combines 2nd/3rd Line desktop support with supporting and improving this businesses IT Infrastructure.
