You will support the IT Infrastructure, Systems and their Cloud Environment. This firm are looking for a Engineer with a strong emphasis on Azure Cloud that can help this company advance their Azure Cloud Infrastructure. Skills in:Design, deploy, secure, and maintain Azure solutions including Entra ID, Azure SQL Database, Azure App Services, Azure virtual networks, Exchange Online, and IntuneAzure security best practices, and Microsoft Defender products and servicesProtect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data governance standardsWork closely with Data and AI teams to ensure their Azure-based solutions are designed, implemented, and maintained correctly and securelyAzure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory and Azure Open AIParticipate in joint projects to integrate Data and AI solutionsOn Prem Infrastructure Experience - Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, Oracle, VMware, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, Cisco Switches and Palo Alto FirewallsAutomation scripts using PowerShell or Python.Desirable:Experience with Linux (RedHat)Experience with Databases (SQL, Oracle)Experience with Virtualisation (VMware)Experience with NAS (NetApp)Experience with Backup/Restore (BackupExec, Veeam)Experience with Networking (Cisco), VoIP (Cisco Call Manager)Experience working in Financial ServicesPackage:Up to £150,000 basic salary.Bonus opportunity.+ many other benefits.
