The company has raised a $1.2million pre-seed round.About The Role The successful Senior DevOps hire will be taking the lead of their infrastructure vertical. They are a fast moving, fast growing startup and there will be plenty of opportunities to throw yourself into a wide range of opportunities and experiences. Some specific examples of what may be included in the role are: Planning + Roadmapping scalable infrastructure solutions, working closely with development team Documentation + knowledge sharing of infrastructure solutions for other technical teams Development of cloud infrastructure on GCP using k8s, helm + terraform Autoscaling and cost optimisation using k8s and tools such as prometheus + keda Maintaining of Kafka based data queueing system Load testing with Jmeter Development and maintaining of CI/CD pipelines DevOps Experience (Required) The tools in brackets are examples of the tools they use for these areas, there is no requirement for extensive experience in all of these tools if you have used similar ones in the past, with an exception only for Kubernetes 2-3 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or Backend Engineer with significant emphasis on DevOps Cloud infrastructure + deployment (Kubernetes + GCP) Performance monitoring (Keda, Prometheus) CI/CD: Github Workflows + 1 other CI tool (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.) DevOps Experience (Desirable) Helm + Terraform Load testing (Jmeter) Queuing Systems (Kafka) Compensation Competitive salary + share options We welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are typically underrepresented in the startup and tech sector.
