Senior Inside Sales Representative - German SpeakingAbout the Role:We require a highly motivated salesperson. The location for this position is London with periodic travel throughout the UK and Europe. Ideal candidates are sales professionals having demonstrated success calling on senior executives in the Energy and/or chemical industry and related market segments, offering a unique valueproposition, delivering solutions and selling solutions specific to customer needs, whetheridentified by the potential client or through the discovery process executed by the Sales Associate.Candidates must have strong closing skills, be extremely persistent, be willing to prospect, workwell without supervision, be highly money motivated, be effective at building relationships,have keen listening skills, be adept at asking probing questions, be assertive but not aggressive,with outstanding phone and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of business economics and comfort discussing value propositions with customers is required. In addition the following attributes are key to this role:A track record of success in Account Management, growth and new business generationA detailed knowledge of the sales cycleExperience of selling subscription servicesEagerness to understand the Chemical Market Analytics value proposition and those ofthe wider OPIS Energy portfolioYou will:Follow up on sales enquiries within agreed time frames to open sales opportunitiesSchedule review calls, renewal calls and customer queriesInitiate and answer sales calls for Chemical Market Analytics and OPIS products andservicesConduct telephone conversations to identify and qualify prospective customers andrecord sales prospecting activity in CRM systemsPrioritise customer satisfactionDevelop/implement a clear strategy to exceed quotaDevelop knowledge of the sales value proposition of Chemical Market Analytics andOPIS services and products and how they fit into the business requirements of ourclientsDevelop relationships with assigned customers to ensure long term partnershipsMaintain existing client base as well as sales into new accountsPrepare and submit accurate sales reporting and forecastingAchieve specific monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotaGenerate referrals and new business leadsRespond to customer calls regarding a specific set of products and services and identifyup-selling opportunities for such callsGrow revenue at existing and new clientsYou Have:Experience of managing end to end sales for new and renewal businessAn undergraduate University degree (preferred)Knowledge and genuine interest in the Energy industryOrganisational efficiency and multi-tasking skillsA collaborative, team-focused mentalityStrong oral and written communication skills in English (imperative) and GermanKnowledge of Salesforce.com preferred.
