A Senior Software Engineer with Java development experience is required for a top financial services electronic trading company to join their global trading group. This group is responsible for the business analytics platforms and algorithm development. They have an extremely strong brand and reputation within electronic trading and are looking for a Java Developer who has worked with in electronic trading previously.

You will be a highly technical Java developer, having worked within an electronic trading environment for equities, FX or similar capital markets. This includes the full software development lifecycle with experience from development to automated testing of code.

You will be highly analytical in your approach, having worked with algo development teams, trading teams and quants, you will be comfortable working closely with these individuals.

Your experience should extend to working with databases in SQL and you will be proficient in Linux operating systems.

This position will give you the opportunity to develop some of the most precise electronic trading systems under the umbrella of a large well known financial services brand.

Skills

Java development skills - Java 8+ and Concurrency

Experience working in an electronic trading environment

SQL Database experience

Linux

CI/CD for code release and experience in automated testing.
