A number of Senior Java Software Engineers with a back-end focus and strong experience with Microservices and Kafka are required to join a major name within the world of Financial Services as they continue to invest in their technology, push boundaries to shape finance and ultimately enable them to create new innovative platforms for customers using cutting edge cloud-based tech.
In the role you will be hands-on designing and further developing a core banking platform that services customers through multiple channels through the use of modern technology and engineering approaches. Additionally, as a Senior Engineer you would confidently mentor more junior Java Engineers through problem solving, code and security standards and code reviews.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have a breadth of experience with Core Java, be well versed with Microservices architecture and have working experience with Kafka for event-driven communication. Further expertise within Cloud (GCP/AWS), API's, Kubernetes and Docker would be seen as a major plus.
You'll be driven by your own high engineering standards, knowledge sharing and delivering real business value.
