Their Investment Funds team advises on all aspects ofinvestment funds and pooled investment with a particular focus onalternative investment funds such as real estate, infrastructure andprivate equity funds. We are now looking for an exceptional PrivateEquity and Investment Funds Senior Knowledge Lawyer to join theirbusy, successful, and highly regarded Investment Funds team. Senior Knowledge Lawyer - Private Equity andInvestment Funds London To be successful in this role: We are lookingfor a senior investment funds lawyer, with at least seven years ofpost-qualification experience (or equivalent) and who has worked at asenior associate or higher level in private practice. The successfulcandidate will have a broad range of experience across investmentfunds in a range of real asset classes, as well as key regulation suchas the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive, and ideallyalso some experience with listed funds. Additional experience incorporate real estate vehicles would also be a bonus. Previousexperience in a knowledge lawyer role within a comparable practiceteam may be beneficial but is not essential. Otherrequirements for this role include: Works to a highstandard, showing sound judgment and attention to detail Effectively prioritises and manages own time Highlydeveloped organisational ability Dynamic, self-starter,energetic and enthusiastic Takes ownership of projects andtasks and progresses them independently Able to work underpressure and remain focused Interested in the law, knowledge and the use of legaltechnology in effective knowledge sharing Interested inbusiness drivers of law firms Able to communicate (writtenand verbal) effectively in a multi-cultural environment Workseffectively within a large organisational structure Contributes to discussion and accepts the consensus Understands and promotes connections between otherpractice/industry sector teams, Marketing & Business Development,Learning & Development, Research Services, IT and other businessservices departments Suggest and implement processes forefficient and systematic knowledge management Assist with thecollection, drafting, maintenance, automation and updating of theteam's knowledge, particularly model documents, the team s transactionbibles, key data gathering, and other precedents, andpractice-specific legal opinions Liaise with the PrivateEquity & Investment Funds Partners and Research Services to helpmanage the team s external knowledge subscriptions Help toensure accessibility of high-quality training materials by developingand coordinating a training programme for the lawyers in the team Prepare and deliver various training sessions and trainingmaterials for the trainees, newly qualified lawyers and as part of theteam who will deliver the team training programme to the PrivateEquity & Investment Funds lawyers at all levels of seniority Introduce laws joining the team to the team's knowledgeresources Research, monitor and analyse legal, market andindustry developments and trends, and consider how they will affectthe team's clients and work Assist in producing horizonscanners and similar pieces for key team clients Identify keylegal developments and hot topics that provide an opportunity toshowcase the firm s experience and insight via client alerts,webinars, seminars and events and help prepare the content needed toproduce such thought leadership materials Liaise with thePrivate Equity and Investment Funds Partners and Marketing & BusinessDevelopment to help identify business opportunities for the team Support the development, implementation and communication ofthe knowledge strategy for the team, working closely with the PrivateEquity & Investment Funds Partners and Regional Head of Knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr
