Senior/Lead Estimator

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a main contractor�in the Rail/Water sector�as a Senior Estimator�on permanent basis. As the Senior Estimator you will lead estimates for civil engineering works and collaborate with the tender teams.�

Responsibilities:

• Lead team of estimators for larger tendors, monitoring and developing junior estimators�


• identify opportunity and risk during tender process


• Present basis of estimate and key assumptions�


• Prepare handovers to site teams at contract award�


• Develop a tender win stratergy alongside the business unit teams�


• Liase with the business unit, Bid Manager and Planner to agree methodology and principles

What do we need from you?

• Experience in water and civils sectors�


• Proven track record working on tenders ranging up to �50million�


• Chartered, incorporated status or similar


• Ability to ensure all tender submissions are both feasible and profitable�


• Confidence in dealing with customers and personnel at a senior level

The salary is indicative and based on experience.
