About the Team
The product team focuses on delivering engaging user experiences for millions of app users, from gamified features to customizable dashboards. The team leverages machine learning algorithms and analytics to drive success, working as a cross-functional unit with diverse expertise to achieve ambitious goals.
Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into impactful projects spanning backend, frontend, and infrastructure systems.
Lead a team of 3-6 engineers (backend, frontend, and testing), providing mentorship, feedback, and performance reviews.
Identify opportunities for team growth and manage recruitment when necessary.
Collaborate with product leads to plan, execute, and report on team objectives.
Develop features for a microservice-based backend architecture.
Enhance infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues by analyzing logs and exploring data.
Ideal Candidate:
Senior-level software developer with 6+ years of experience in backend development for large-scale systems using languages such as Go, Java, PHP, Rust, C#, Python, or TypeScript.
Expertise in Go or willingness to quickly develop proficiency.
Experience in leading and mentoring development teams, providing technical guidance and feedback.
Proficient in troubleshooting through log and data analysis in SQL-compatible systems.
Driven to understand how technology can solve business problems and deliver better outcomes.
Versatile technical expert who can adapt to different technologies and stacks.
Experience with cloud technologies and a deep understanding of underlying systems.
