Senior Legal Counsel EMEA

Leading Strategic Advisor seeking Senior Legal Counsel to join London legal team. Experienced lawyer to work in partnership with the GC, Partners and Senior Advisers to provide legal support and advice from a risk and compliance perspective at high level requiring excellent exercise of judgment and some knowledge of public/ administrative law, lobbying, gifts, sanctions and entertainment as well as experience of dealing with UK/European regulators. The role will involve gathering insights and risk-reviewing client projects, commercial advice on legal and regulatory risks, monitoring developments and advising internally on a range of matters. You will have trained at a top City firm or be a qualified barrister and have exposure to regulatory work and experience risk-reviewing projects. You will be intellectually curious, and an agile, incisive, collaborative lawyer who is happy to muck in and who is confident engaging with senior individuals both internally and externally.
