A Leading semi conductor firm are working on a next generation of Microchip developments and have a long term OUTSIDE IR35 contract opportunity to work with them on the next generation of technologies in this area that may be of interest.This position provides the opportunity to work at the forefront of the technology with a global business so will suit anyone with an expertise or strong knowledge in this area. All recent Linux kernel work is relevant as is any experience with;- Porting BSPs- Providing driver support for SOC I.P. Blocks- porting Yocto versions- Back porting driver support to CIP- Scarthgap/Dunfell (beneficial)- Yoctoproject- Community maintainers- Drivers for complex I.P.- Upstreaming (beneficial) ( e.g I2C, PCI, USB3)The project is likely to last 2+ years on a fully home working basis and the client is able to arrange an interview with any suitable candidates next week to join them on a fully home working OUTSIDE IR35 basis.
