Job Description A respected food trading company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee international logistics operations. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Logistics Manager in overseeing daily operations while contributing to strategic supply chain improvements.
Supervise and coordinate the movement of goods, ensuring smooth import, export, and stock transfers.
Take full responsibility for shipments, quickly addressing any issues to ensure timely deliveries.
Maintain strong relationships with freight providers, storage facilities, and customs officials to reduce delays.
Ensure full compliance with global trade laws, customs requirements, and transportation regulations.
Address urgent logistics challenges, including occasional out-of-hours situations, to protect business interests.
Work closely with senior management to provide insights into logistics performance, cost management, and process optimisation.
Use SAP Business One or similar ERP systems to monitor logistics activities and generate reports.
