Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Senior LLM Engineer - United Kingdom - £100,000 - £120,000. I'm working on a live requirement for a client within the entertainment sector. They're currently looking for a senior LLM Engineer to join the team on a remote basis.Candidates must be based within the UK without need of Visa sponsorship.Key day-to-day activities:Extensive background in fine-tuning open-source LLMs using methods like SFT and/or LORA, with some exposure to more advanced techniques such as DPO.Proficient in creating, curating, and managing datasets tailored for LLM training, particularly leveraging high-end models (e.g., GPT-4) to develop smaller, specialised LLMs that maintain comparable task-specific performance.Comprehensive understanding of the open-source LLM ecosystem, staying informed about the latest advancements in both foundational models and community-driven fine-tunings.Solid experience with Python 3.x, capable of writing clean, error-free code, with a good understanding of Python typing and data validation, along with familiarity with key libraries like HF Transformers, PyTorch, and NumPy.Experience needed:Python - + 6 years’ Experience - HF Transformers / DatasetsMachine Learning - Experience in building and deploying ML Models + 2 yearsLibraries - PyTorch, TensorFlowInfrastructure - Proficient in AWS, Linux, Containerisation - Docker / KubernetesReach out for more details on the position.
