Senior Management Accountant

Nixon McQuade is currently recruiting a Senior Management Accountant on behalf a leading business in Belfast. The Senior Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting our client's growth initiatives. Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to ensure accurate financial planning. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure timely submission. Manage and mentor a team of junior accountants. Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks. Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing queries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various financial projects and initiatives. Requirements: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong background in management accounting. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong proficiency in financial software and MS Excel. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
