Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Operational Technology, will oversee and manage all aspects of the company's operational technology infrastructure. This includes ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of systems supporting manufacturing, laboratory operations, and IT environments. The role involves leading a team of engineers, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The manager will also drive continuous improvement, optimize system performance, and support strategic goals through effective technology management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational technology engineers.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs.
Develop and implement technology strategies for manufacturing, lab, and IT operations.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and implement cybersecurity measures.
Lead technology projects, ensuring timely and quality completion.
Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices to improve efficiency.
Skills and Competencies
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Expertise in operational technology systems and cybersecurity principles.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO).
Strong project management and vendor management skills.
Problem-solving, critical thinking, and effective communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
7+ years of experience in operational technology or a similar role.
Proven team and vendor management experience.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
