The Production Finance Manager supports Production, Op eration and accounts team in production planning, Budgeting ( forecasting ) and reporting . The position deals with highly confidential financial and proprietary information and interacts with al l levels Senior Management, Physical Production, Post-Production, VFX, Tax, Development, Business Affairs, Legal and other business units of the Company. Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Manager of Production Finance to oversee and manage the financial aspects of our VFX production operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of production finance, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting within the VFX & Media industry. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with VFX production teams to develop and manage production budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and targets. Provide financial analysis and reporting on VFX production cost variances and forecasts for senior management. Monitor VFX production spending across the various location & Departments and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency/productivity improvements. Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Oversee the preparation and submission of tax incentives, rebates, and production incentives for VFX projects. Coordinate with external auditors and VFX producers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Provide financial guidance and support to VFX artists, production staff, and clients to ensure project success. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in production finance within the VFX industry. Proven track record of managing and optimizing VFX production budgets for film, television, or streaming content. Strong understanding of VFX tax incentives and global production financing structures. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency with VFX financial software and tools. Additional Requirements: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional VFX teams and manage multiple VFX projects simultaneously. In-depth knowledge of VFX industry standards, regulations, and best practices in production finance. Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
