The Senior Manager, Sponsorship Experiences will be responsible for delivering exceptional sponsor (and exhibitor) experiences across a variety of events and mediums. Working collaboratively with the client, vendors, and colleagues to provide seamless event delivery and a cycle of continuous engagement for the sponsors.The role will support the development of strategic relationships with sponsor accounts to achieve long-term, high-value relationships. Partner with the client teams, colleagues, sponsors, and exhibitors to understand both sponsor and client objectives and business needs.Responsibilities:This role will support a minimum of two clients:As the primary point of contact, in the role of the Global Project Lead, as well as the Project Lead for the EMEA RegionAs a member of the Sponsorship Experiences team, supporting tier(s) of sponsorsPrimary responsibilities will include:Be the sought-after “voice of the sponsor” influencing teams and vendors to think “sponsor first” in an integrated manner that enhances the sponsor and attendee experience.Deliver a first-class sponsor experience both by directly managing sponsors to successfully execute their event sponsorship package and engagement opportunities (MPOs – additional sponsorship elements) and by collaborating with and leading colleagues to operate in the same exceptional way.Collaborate with colleagues/client to proactively develop and implement framework and processes for delivery of sponsorship packages and MPOs including the development, communication, and management of sponsor readiness materials, content guidance, policies, tech specs, key dates, review processes, approvals, etc.Be proactive in driving the effective implementation and management of sponsorship package elements and engagement opportunities (MPOs) across event portfolios and mediums.Where appropriate, contribute to the financial management of sponsorship package inclusions and MPOs in conjunction with vendors and client teams. This may include tracking, forecasting, reporting, and risk mitigation.Support in the development and maintenance of strategic relationships with senior-level sponsor decision-makers to proactively identify and drive (in collaboration with sales) cross-selling/upselling opportunities, ultimately driving revenue growth and revenue retention.Drive the continuous improvement of the client and sponsor relationship and sponsor opportunities across mediums through analysis of client and sponsor feedback pre- and post-event, and together with an understanding of future client needs, identify an improvement plan to add value.Skills, experience and competenciesExperience or working in sponsorship/exhibition execution at a high level or relevant transferable skills.Experience working with multiple event technologies and productivity tools, specifically proven Excel and PPT skills.Proven project management skills, running multiple projects on time and within budget.Strong financial and business acumen with experience in contract management.Ability to work at pace, under pressure, and across multiple events and projects.A passion for working with sponsors and exhibitors.Strong diplomacy and good negotiation skills.
