We are seeking talented engineers who want to work in the biggest projects and are not afraid of new challenges.JOB POSITION: Senior & Principal Mechanical Engineer KEY INFORMATION:Settled status, permanent right to work in the UK,5-15 years of experience,Subject Matter Expert (SME),Experience in nuclear projects,Glovebox.LOCATION: Warrington.EXPERTISE:Deliver and manage technical studies,Design of mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support. Typical deliverables will be issued: technical note, substantiation notes, mechanical flow diagrams and flow-sheets, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical layout drawings, hazards and malfunctions management, technical specification documentation review from supply chain,Technical studies related to mechanical handling for both handling operations and heavy mechanical transfer systems, powder mechanical processes (transport, milling, and compaction) in high active environment and gloveboxes, compaction and mechanical dismantling technologies,Technical networking with the client, including with client experts.Qualifications:Senior Mechanical Engineer :-Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant degree plus a minimum of 5 years experience working on UK nuclear sites,-Member of relevant professional body,-Demonstrable experience of engineering design (development, FEED, detailed design, technical specification, documentation review from supply chain) and engineering team management in the nuclear industry or other regulated sectors,-Demonstrable experience of mechanical studies delivery (Mechanical handling, powder technologies) considering manufacture, testing, construction commissioning, operation, maintenance recovery and decommissioning aspects,-Demonstrable experience of contractor follow-up in the nuclear industry or other regulated sectors,-Recognised Subject Matter Expert (SME),-Experience of delivering projects for Sellafield or Magnox sites (desirable).Principal Mechanical Engineer :-Have a relevant Engineering degree,-9+ Years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer within Nuclear sector,-Member of relevant professional body,-Knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering,-Experience of engineering design (development, FEED, detailed design, technical specification, documentation review from supply chain) in the nuclear industry or other regulated sectors,-Experience of mechanical studies delivery (Mechanical handling, powder technologies) considering manufacture, testing, construction commissioning, operation, maintenance recovery and decommissioning aspects,-Experience of contractor follow-up in the nuclear industry or other regulated sectors,-Experience of delivering projects for Sellafield or Magnox sites (desirable),-Hold a minimum of ‘SC’ UK Security Clearance.WHY JOIN SEIMAF?Private health insurance (AXA),24 days of paid leave + 8 public holidays -> 32 days/year guaranteed,Additional leave with years of service,Pension scheme,Training and development,Professional membership and chartership,Employee referral scheme (co-optation).WHO ARE WE?Ready to take on new challenges?
