Senior Mechanical Estimator

Brownlee Cale are recruiting for a permanent Senior Mechanical Estimator for our client who operate in the MEICA sector. The role is based in Warrington.�
Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage Supplier and Subcontractor enquiries and appraisals


• Coordinate with all departments for tendering and finalise tenders for presentation and submission�(materials, labour, plant, accommodation requirements, etc)


• Attend meetings and conduct reviews of contract documents, tender and post contract queries


• Mentor junior estimating team�


• Monitor tender/ proposal methods

Requirements:

• HNC, ONC or equivalent in relevant discipline


• Experience in estimating in MEICA sector within industries such as pharmaceuticals and nuclear.


• Good working knowledge of current estimating and commercial practices


• Good knowledge of engineering and project managing practices


• High level of competency in English Language and numerical/ computer literacy
