Senior Mechanical Project Manager

Our Client, a rapidly growing SME within the Mechanical Services industry recruiting for a Senior�Mechanical Projects/Contracts Manager

The head office is based in West London and with contracts & projects across London and the surrounding Home Counties.

This role reports into the Director

As the Senior Porject�Manager, you will be responible for the current Project Managers & Contracts Managers. You will also be�required to oversee�mulitple�installation projects with values in excess of �200K. The majority of the contracts are retrofit & refurb projects within Local Authority and Central Government. Exposure & experience with these types of contracts is essential.

The candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactive management of Health & Safety


• Planning, managing, executing and controlling projects


• Sole responsibility for budget, programme, quality, supplier and subcontractor management


• Participate in bid/tender processes


• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients


• Full man management responsibilities

Requirements

• Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in Mechanical discipline.�


• Demonstrate experience working as a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or currently working as a Project Manager from within the building services industry is essential. Working within Local Authority Contracts would be an advantage.�


• Relevant Health and Safety qualifications such as a SMSTS/ISOH/NEBOSH�


• Experience of delivering projects as the Mechanical Contractor�


• Excellent working knowledge of all MS office applications�


• To have successful experience in dealing directly with Clients and the public


• To work on his/her own initiative�
