We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join our HMP Glasgow team. /p br br Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below. br p This could be your opportunity to get involved in delivering modern new-build custodial facility, delivering a secure, energy efficient and high specification prison for 200 inmates and staff. /p br p /p br p strong Location: /strong Glasgow, Scotland /p br p strong Contract: /strong Permanent, full time, permanent /p br p /p br p strong What will you be responsible for? /strong /p br ul li br /li li Advising on legal and contractual matters on orders and change br /li li Valuation of project and subcontract progress. br /li li Subcontractor administration including Agreeing Final Accounts. br /li li Production of notices, such as commencement and payment notices. br /li li Undertaking of monthly cost report, Commercial Plan internally and external Client Reports as required. br /li li Production of records, such as progress reports. br /li li Undertaking project cashflows and turnover forecasts. br /li li Undertaking of Risk and Opportunity reporting and management. br /li li Producing margin improvement plans and driving margin into the project. br /li li Drive commercial thinking and support team members in maximising commercial understanding and opportunities. br /li li Undertaking approvals of Material Purchases, checking all commercial risks and opportunities have been considered. br /li li All commercial task and reports updated monthly. br /li /ul br p /p br p strong The role of Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you can demonstrate: /strong /p br p /p br ul li br /li li Qualification, at degree level or HND/HNC (or similar) in Quantity Surveying. br /li li Experience working on high value MEP packages either within the main contracting environment or specialist M&E contracting br /li li Clear understanding of all main forms of contract JCT, NEC etc br /li li Technical understanding of MEPH services, components that make up individual systems and how packages are broken out and the interfaces associated with this. br /li li Full UK Driving License br /li /ul br p /p br p We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
