Senior Mental Health Nurse RMN £5,000 STARTING BONUS



Pay: £39,511.70 - £42,073.20/pa (dependant on experience) + £5,000 WELCOME BONUS

We are looking for Senior Nurse RMN – pay advertised is dependant on the knowledge, experience and skills demonstrated at the interview.





Senior Nurse RMN essential requirements:




  • Valid NMC pin with no restrictions present

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience as a nurse 



Senior Nurse RMN role:




  • FULL-TIME/ PART-TIME HOURS AVAILABLE

  • 2 weeks of induction on starting the role including agreed shadowing time

  • The role is within a 52-bedded, acute mental health hospital; 2 adult acute wards and 2 PICUs.

  • Able to support junior staff in their professional development, through excellent and effective clinical leadership, mentoring, teaching and sharing of knowledge and practice

  • Promote the best interest of clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care in consistently implemented to your allocated patients

  • Assess, plan and deliver nursing care which considers patient choices and wishes, while acting as the patients’ named nurse

  • Carry out patient assessments and evaluate their progress accurately

  • Review and Monitor Nursing Care Plans

  • Evaluate and respond to changes in patient conditions as appropriate

  • Maintain a continued level of personal professional development in accordance to preceptorship and revalidation

  • Work in accordance with safeguarding adults and children policies and requirements

  • Ensure the requirements of the Mental Health, Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Standards are met

  • Adhere to Medicine Management policies at all times
