Senior Offshore Structures Engineer

Our client, a forward-thinking presence in the Oil & Gas sector, is actively searching for an Offshore Structures Engineer to bolster their structural engineering team. This contract role is perfect for a professional skilled in structural engineering, with a passion for contributing to projects in both renewables and traditional oil and gas frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analysis of offshore structures according to industry standards and project specifications.
• Execute structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides.
• Study and define the best technical solutions for offshore structures (both substructures and topsides) during various stages (feasibility, FEED, detail design).
• Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the structural integrity and functionality of offshore installations.
• Assist in the development of work scopes and project schedules by providing expert engineering knowledge.
• To prepare and review all technical documentation related to structural design activities during the different phases of the project, such as conceptual study, FEED, tender and contract package preparation, detailed engineering, and Operations.
• Offering insights and technical leadership in project and design reviews.

Job Requirements:

• Significant expertise in structural engineering within the Oil & Gas and Renewables sector.
• Proficiency with industry-specific software including SESAM and SACS.
• Proven ability to design and oversee the construction of offshore structures.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
