Senior Operational Risk Analyst - International Bank

Job Description
Our client, an International bank, is looking to recruit for a Senior Operational Risk Analyst within their London office.
Purpose
To support the Operational Risk Lead and Head of Risk in the oversight of Operational Risk, and to ensure that the firm effectively manages Operational Risk and has a robust Framework and underlying toolsets.
Key Accountabilities
Day-to-day management of all operational risk issues and events.
Managing Operational Risk event reporting, ensuring all incidents are reported and investigated in a timely manner.
Prepare Operational Risk reports and dashboards and support administration of the Operational Risk Committee.
Ensure that appropriate remediation is undertaken by the business, along with root cause analysis and actions tracking.
Oversee the RCSA and associated controls testing. Review and approve all changes to the RCSA. Full execution of sample based control testing and assurance and report these through governance.
Perform a review of the various audit and monitoring logs covering information security risks.
May work with others in the Risk department on ad hoc tasks as they arise.
Skills & Experience
Background in financial services.
2-5 years of related Risk experience – understands the key principles and tools.
Understanding of OR Frameworks, their implementation and evolution.
Ideally exposure to OR system implementation.
Experience in control testing or auditing.
