We have an exciting new Payroll opportunity – 8 Month Fixed Term ContractJSS have partnered with a prestigious UK university to look for a new senior payroll and pensions manager who would lead the delivery of efficient and timely monthly payroll and benefits.Working as senior payroll manager would mean providing leadership and direction to the Payroll, Pensions and Benefits team, as well as:Organising and managing the delivery of all payroll operationsManaging monthly reconciliations with the Finance teamProviding guidance to the HR Senior Leadership Team (SLT)Management of the university’s pension schemesAs well as many other responsibilities This is a hybrid role based in London, with 1-2 days in the office and comes with flexible part-time work hours. You will be managing a team of 3 comprised of the deputy payroll manager and assistant payroll managers.The university is looking for someone with managerial level payroll experience as well as a well rounded payroll experience that includes working with pensions and benefits. They are also looking for someone who has managed a large payroll which would transition well into this role. Those that have worked in the public sector are encouraged to apply.£50,000-£60,000 as well as benefits (pro rata).
