Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator with experience in Defined Benefit (DB) pensions administration. This role requires someone who can manage complex pensions processes, perform detailed calculations, and oversee the work of junior team members. The position also involves working closely with clients to resolve queries, provide advice, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage pensions administration tasks, ensuring they meet both client and legal requirements.
Handle complex pension-related queries and provide expert advice.
Assist in the development and mentoring of junior staff, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
Monitor and report on team performance, ensuring service delivery and targets are met.
Participate in client meetings and build strong, professional relationships.
Drive improvements in service quality, process efficiency, and delivery.
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in DB pensions administration, including tasks such as final salary calculations, retirements, transfers, and more.
Solid knowledge of current pensions legislation and frameworks.
Ability to perform complex calculations and review the work of others.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong communication skills and an ability to solve problems effectively.
Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
