As an experienced Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you will be a proactive and key member of the Mind Tools People team with an overall goal to support culture change, and to drive practices that provide continuous improvement in our employee experience.Reporting into our Head of People & Programmes, you will be supporting the execution of our people and culture strategy, building employee morale and job satisfaction, continuous learning, talent acquisition/ development in key strategic growth areas and championing diversity and inclusion. You will be an advocate of Mind Tools’ culture ensuring our great workplace environment aligned with our core values is maintained.Day to day we’ll trust you to…Assist the Head of People and Programmes in leading the Culture Change programme kicked off in January 2024 to align culture to the new growth strategy.Lead and manage the full recruitment process across all business areas and roles (including senior management roles).Lead the onboarding process for new starters, partnering with Line Managers to create an effective onboarding schedule and managing probation periods and reviews along with Line Managers.Take the lead and Partner with Managers to correctly onboard new freelancers and contractors in line with our ways of working and the IR35 legislation in place.Manage absence to include sickness, holiday entitlements and special leave, reporting on trends and anomalies, acting on opportunities to provide Manager support and development, using our HRIS, HiBob.Collaborate and support on engaging company events such as our Connections series of online and face-to-face events, celebrations and important milestones.Lead on the employee exiting process including processing leavers through our HRIS HiBob, conducting Exit interviews and reporting on trends and anomalies.Ensure workforce changes, i.e. salary, hours, leavers, change of role/manager are updated promptly for payroll.Process monthly payroll in partnership with an external payroll bureau for colleagues in the UK and USManage and administer all colleague benefits in the UK and US such as our health benefit, our pension and 401k schemes, life assurance etc.Support, or take a People lead role (where appropriate) on company projects and strategic programmes, such as Culture enhancement and engagement, the implementation of new systems, and changes to ways of working.Coordinate L&D activities including sourcing and sharing innovative ideas to meet individual and team needs, including ongoing management and completion of compliance training programmesWork collaboratively to coordinate any internal communications across events, email and Teams.Be the first point of contact for employee queries, providing advice and guidance on contracts/legal queries, policies, ways of working, procedures etc.Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance issues, and disciplinary actionsMentor and coach managers to inspire confidence in their ability to manage people in line with our values as well as aid improvement in business efficiency, assisting managers and leaders in creating development plans and career paths.Prepare and launch the performance management cycles and conducting performance rating calibration meetings with teams.Lead the annual salary review/bonus process, carrying out external salary benchmarking and making proposals and recommendations to the SLTMaintain all People & Culture policies, procedures and other documentation to ensure they are kept up to date with changes in legislation or procedures; where required, new policies and procedures developed according to the needs of the business,Work closely with senior management to develop and implement a P&C strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives. Using evidence and data to identify people priorities for the business and address future and current resource needs.Understand business priorities and translate them into P&C initiatives. Providing guidance on practices such as succession planning and restructures to ensure that people expertise is brought to the business to deliver the company goals and strategy.Managing organizational change initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, or restructuring.
