An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior People Partner to join a leading Manufacturing Organisation in Bristol.

In this role, you will ensure the effective delivery of HR operations and services, meeting business needs in line with HR delivery model and Company policy. This role will appeal to those who would like to work in an environment that is both challenging and supportive.

Description

As the Senior People Partner you will be part of the SLT and HR lead on site, with responsibility for the effectiveness of the HR delivery model, work with trade unions and drive the culture change.

  • Support and enable a culture change programme across the facility to support improved business performance through improved engagement.
  • Provide effective HR support to the local business managers ensuring business needs are met in line with the HR policies and processes. Advise managers on their HR responsibilities, management behaviours and team management
  • Work with line managers and employees to resolve problems in areas where face-to-face support or knowledge of the local business context is required.
  • Have prime responsibility for local deployment of Company HR processes such as Performance Management, Reward Review, Role grading, Salary policy, Engagement Surveys and deployment of Diversity & Inclusion plans.
  • Maintain partnership with other HR Service Operations activities and Business Operations to ensure overall service delivery whilst complying with approval and notification procedures.
  • Identify gaps and propose improvements to the local HR services.
  • Enable employee/workforce development by directing line-managers to appropriate learning solutions or by identifying new learning needs.
  • Support recruitment activities by ensuring vacancies are defined, graded and approved and line-managers are directed to appropriate resourcing services.

Profile

  • CIPD Qualified
  • Proven experience in a similar Senior People Partner role within a complex, unionised manufacturing/engineering organisation.
  • Broad knowledge of the HR best practice including Employee Relations, Engagement, Reward, Resourcing, Talent and Development, Coaching on Leadership, and Employment Law.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Change management skill-set combined with ability to apply project management principles to analyse data, deliver and support organisational change.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Job Offer
