Morson are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as Senior Planning Engineer to become part of one of the leading infrastructure solutions firms, entrusted with delivering a segment of the East Coast Cluster, which aims to decarbonize the Teesside and Humber regions and establish a platform for economic growth. Skills and experience:
• Holds an HNC or a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experienced in planning major civil engineering pipeline projects.
• Proficient in P6, including resourcing and cost loading.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly with gas pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to ensure timely information delivery.
• Promotes Sustainability, Safety, Health, and Environment by prioritizing personal safety and wellbeing, and supporting the thriving of the environment and communities.
• Demonstrate integrity by consistently doing the right thing in the right way.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating, and meeting customer needs.
Role Responsibilities:
• Undertake planning, programming, and progress control as an integral member of the planning team, responsible for all aspects of project planning, programming, and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site works.
• Liaise with clients, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities on all matters related to planning.
• Appraise and coordinate all subcontractors’ programs and provide feedback on changes to the main program information.
• Prepare and present reports on program and progress for all aspects of the project and attend and contribute to site meetings and other related meetings.
