Senior Planning Manager - Severn Trent Region

Are you a seasoned Planning Manager ready to shape the future of water infrastructure in the Severn Trent region?

Our client, a leading contractor within the UK water sector, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Manager to oversee critical water projects. This role offers an opportunity to lead and deliver complex projects that will have a lasting impact on the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive planning strategies for large-scale water infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Analyse project data to identify trends and optimise planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior planning team members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Planning Manager within the water or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of planning methodologies and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with the Severn Trent region and its specific water infrastructure challenges.
  • Relevant qualifications in planning, engineering, or a related field.
