Job Title: Senior Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional – Planning


Location: Barrow – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.


Salary: £40,748+ Dependant on skills and experience



What you’ll be doing:



  • Performing intermediate project reporting & scheduling, including scheduling and cost performance using plan data

  • Ensuring correct information is being fed into business systems to ensure accurate EV (Earned Value) Data

  • Undertaking intermediate problem solving and creating solutions

  • Planning governance and reporting processes and procedures

  • Ensuring good plan health across all areas of programme planning (Data quality checks, DCMA 14 Point Health checks etc.)


Your skills and experiences:


Essential:



  • Previous planning experience

  • Ability to analyse and interrogate large data sets in excel and produce reports

  • Knowledge of problem-solving techniques

  • Experience with PM&C policies, processes, procedures and systems

  • Good Experience using Excel


Desirable:



  • SAP/P6

The Dreadnought Programme Planning Team:


In this role you will be at the forefront of Dreadnought reporting, feeding the business systems with schedule and cost data, which will directly inform all teams Programme wide in regards to progress and performance. You will be joining the largest programme within the submarines business unit currently and have the opportunity to liaise and interact with senior stakeholders with the reports that you will generate. This role is a great career stepping stone, offering progression to develop a lasting career with BAE Systems.
