We are looking for Senior Platform Engineer who would like to help us reach our mission to earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service.
This role sits within a newly created Platform team, who are now responsible for designing, building, configuring and supporting IT environments needed to develop and operate business systems
As the Senior Platform Engineer your key responsibilities are
Deliver services and platforms using DevOps methodologies, monitoring their system performance for reliability and security
Create roadmaps for changes to existing and new platforms, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve successful delivery
Integrate security and compliance into our IT platforms
Lead, design and implement technical projects, whilst evaluating and selecting appropriate tools and techniques
About you
Experience implementing and supporting multiple platforms for use by IT stakeholders and delivering services using DevOps methodologies
Proficient with scripting and programming languages and a good understanding of IT infrastructure
Good understanding of the platforms and tools needed to operate a large enterprise, with experience working with multiple technology stacks
Deep understanding of enterprise level platforms, with the ability to continuously learn new technologies
Excellent communicator to both technical and non-technical audiences
Problem solver who works through to resolution and delivers to expectation on time
