Senior/Principal Software Engineer, Real-Time Video Processing | Greenfield MedTech with AI and IoT, within an International Business | Hybrid, London | Total package £109k, plus exceptional benefitsThe Client:Owen Thomas has partnered with a leading innovator within MedTech that is providing groundbreaking products, integrating connectivity, real-time guidance, and decision support into surgical environments.It's an opportunity to join one of the largest and most innovative medical device companies in the world, and work on a cutting edge Greenfield project, to be part of a mission to help save lives!The Role for Senior/Principal Software Engineer, Real-Time Video Processing, Low Latency :To join an existing Senior and International team, working on cutting edge technologies for this greenfield project in the MedTech industry.Your role will initially be IC, with room to grow in the future.Key Requirements for the Senior/Principal Software Engineer, Real-Time Video Processing, Low Latency :Proficiency with video processing frameworks such as Nvidia Holoscan, Deepstream, and/or Gstreamer.Strong C++ development skills, including experience with C++11 or higher, multi-threading, inter-process communication, and performance optimization.In-depth understanding of software design principles and C++ design patterns.Practical experience in designing low-latency, high-performance, real-time video or image processing software.Expertise in developing or implementing real-time image processing algorithms using hardware acceleration.Familiarity with CUDA or OpenCL.Experience with AI acceleration/inferencing frameworks such as TensorRT, Triton, or equivalents.Ability to write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.Capability to work independently and drive development from concept to production.Strong communication skills.What do the company provide:A competitive salary and benefits packageFlexible work environment.Annual Incentive Plan based on company performance.Pension scheme and group discount on healthcare insurance.If you are interested in theSenior/Principal Software Engineer, Real-Time Video Processing, Low Latency, please apply to the job and we will give you a call if it's a match! :)
