Role Description Our UK Resilience Water team is looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to grow our Design & Engineering team. In Engineering, you'll create some of the world's most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening up public places that bring people together. An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide Optioneering, Outline, and Detailed design inputs for Frameworks across UK Water Companies, alongside major large-scale Design & Build projects with our Contractor Partners, covering diverse and technically demanding and stimulating projects in treatment process engineering. Role Accountabilities This exciting and challenging role represents a significant opportunity for the right person to showcase their technical experience and skills, to get involved with the south of the UK's future water and environmental improvement schemes, and to join the growing Arcadis UK Water Design & Engineering team. The role entails: Liaison with clients to understand their specific requirements Preparation of outline & detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction-Ready documentation Inputs to the development of Feasibility level design and Optioneering assessments Preparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings, and other deliverables Liaison with contractors, the supply chain, and other project stakeholders Mentoring and supporting the development of less experienced members of staff Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate should possess: Degree in Chemical Engineering or suitable alternative qualification Chartered membership of an appropriate Professional body (IChemE or CIWEM) Strong technical design experience on multi-disciplinary projects Good working knowledge and understanding of Water Industry Clients and Contractors Good motivation, influencing, and people management skills Knowledge and experience of BIM-led design and other process-specific digital tools Good working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice, and Water Specifications #J-18808-Ljbffr
