Role Purpose:
In this newly created role, you will lead and evolve the procurement strategy. You will be a procurement change leader, driving high-level functional transformation for the category. Implementing best practice procurement processes tailored for business needs-working closely with the commercial and agronomy teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Category Management: Drive strategic category management across the globe, maximizing supplier value and cross-functional opportunities.
* Process Enhancement: Streamline procurement processes, implement governance frameworks, and lead sourcing changes to boost efficiency.
* Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and deploy SRM frameworks to enhance supplier performance, innovation, and sustainability.
* Risk & Sustainability: Support ESG strategy, managing supplier risk and transparency.
* Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor, partnering with stakeholders to expand the proposition and drive procurement transformation.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in procurement and sourcing positions within the produce industry (essential)
* A strong track record in developing and executing procurement strategies (essential)
* Flexibility to travel extensively in order to visit suppliers worldwide (essential)
