Senior Product Design Engineer

An international consumer electronic consumer goods brand is seeking to recruit a Senior Design Engineer to join their successful and expanding NPD team. Based in London, you'll benefit from a starting salary of up to �55,000, annual bonus and international travel opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to develop new consumer electronic consumer products.

As a Senior Design Engineer will you be responsible for:

• Robust 3D CAD modelling.
• Leading the development of whole products as well as mechanisms and sub-assemblies.
• End-to-end project management of multiple projects from concept through to manufacture.
• Rapid prototyping, functional lab testing and analysis of test data.
• Experience of high-volume manufacturing process and applying to designs.
• Work with external manufacturing partners and other suppliers.
• Collaborating seamlessly across all teams ensuring effective professional communication with all colleagues.

To be considered for this role, you will require:

• Proven experience within Product Design, Mechanical and Engineering environment.
• Qualified to degree level in either PhD, MSc, MA, MEng, BA, BEng or BSc Product, Mechanical and Industrial Design Engineering.
• Experience in consumer electronics or household/kitchen appliances.
• Proven experience in developing plastic injection moulded components and enclosures for mass manufacture.
• Strong 3D CAD experience
• Skilled in motivating a team to deliver, ensuring it is a thoroughly collaborative environment, providing a positive attitude and remaining inquisitive.
• Appreciation for electrical engineering is helpful.
