Senior Product Development Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Product Development Engineer just outside of Kidderminster for a manufacturer of high quality, technical products.

What will your day to day activities as a Senior Product Development Engineer include? �

This position will based just outside of Kidderminster working 37.5 hours per week with a 30 minute lunch break per day. This role will be responsible for managing the new product development to agreed timescales and budgets, creating details drawings with AutoCAD and Solidworks, providing technical resource to the sales team, prototyping, testing, progress reports, product documentation and much more!

What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?

• Ideally 10 years+ experience within a Product Development position (we are able to consider 1-2 years+ but will be on the lower end of the offering salary)


• Strong skills with both Solidworks and AutoCAD


• Experience with project management


• Experience developing and contributing concept ideas for new products


• Experience with building and testing new products


• Any hands on, practical assembly experience would be advantageous to have appreciation for the production processes


• College or university level education in Engineering/Production is highly desirable


• A positive attitude with a willingness to progress and grow with the company


• A creative person who can bring ideas to the development of their product range


• Efficient and prompt work style
