With the customer at the heart, as a product manager, you’ll support defining a clear strategic direction for our platform products, setting long-term goals and creating the vison for our products that align with our customer needs. Our mission is to lead and develop the personalisation strategy driving forward the transformation to provide self-serving capabilities, tech, and infrastructure for how we can engage with customers.Personalised Experiences and Communications (PEC) platform sits within the Consumer Relationships BU and plays a substantial role in supporting the achievement of the Group Personalisation strategy to be more relevant for customers.This role will focus on developing the product strategy to transform the way we communicate important operational customer and product information to our diverse customer base. In your role as Senior Product Manager you’ll continuously demonstrate;Innovative & strategic mindset: Collaborating with the product owners to develop a compelling product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment to, and embedding of the group wide personalisation & communications strategy.Cross-functional collaboration: Play an active role in the development of our product management community of practise, model good product ways of working across the platform. Whilst building and maintain positive relationships across the Group to be active and visible supporting contribution of our products and promoting the strategy, services, and capabilities being developed.Customer & value centric approach: engage with our customers (internally and externally), to develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customer use cases to inform roadmaps that directly address customer needs and deliver value continuously through an iterative approach.Market analysis: Stay up to date with market changes and competitors’ insights alongside internal analytics, equipping the product owners to effectively develop individual, aligned product strategies & roadmaps.What you'll needEssentialProduct development experience – defining a product vision & roadmap with accountability for its delivery in collaboration with the product delivery teams. Robust understanding of the tech landscape and capabilities, the personalisation strategy, and the business imperatives.Able to combine a strategic, product mentality with the ability to see opportunities and develop comprehensive delivery plans, driving actions to coordinate and align to strategic goals.Use your expertise to lead projects and/or programmes within desired cost, time, and quality parameters.Extensive track record of building strong senior level relationships and providing constructive support and challenge to directors.Able to think strategically and have a natural curiosity for external and internal factors that could influence our strategy. Strong communication and relationship building skills. Bring energy and aim to ensure your product is successful.DesirableExperienced in operational customer communications, ideally in a regulated industry.
