The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Specialist who will work closely with the Portfolio Management team, approving investment strategy and supporting the promotion of that strategy – across Multi Asset portfolios & Direct Equities.
The Senior Product Specialist will play a leadership role in the Investment Management Team, working with Portfolio Managers to ensure strong communication and customer awareness of Investment product offerings, and ensuring that the investment portfolios optimise returns within agreed risk profiles and in line with investment strategy.
The Senior Product Specialist will have the credibility to promote Investment Strategy through presentations with internal and external stakeholders as well as Press when required.
The Senior Product Specialist will optimise the performance of the investment portfolio and set the investment approach and strategy to ensure great customer outcomes to promote revenue, profitability and sustainable growth within the Investment Management business.
As a key interface to investment partners the Senior Product Specialist may be asked to liaise with or report to the Investment Board with regards to Investment performance.
The Senior Product Specialist will deliver a strong investment proposition and growth plans for customer value and profitable growth for shareholders.
Design, implement, and operate effective investment policies, processes and controls in accordance with Investment Management Company risk framework.
The Senior Product Specialist will maintain strong market awareness, assessing investment opportunities and strategies to maximise customer value within agreed risk profiles.
The Candidate
CFA qualified - essential
10 Years + Prior experience in a Senior Product Specialist role OR leading or deputising in Investment Management / Portfolio Management teams.
Experience in Asset Allocation and delivering Investment Performance.
Strong ability to present to clients and senior business stakeholders.
A track record of implementing investment strategies with good customer outcomes.
