A Global Insurer is seeking an experienced Professional Liability professional to join their close-knit and diverse London Market team.
The team portfolio is a split of open-market and delegated authority business, both primary and excess, emanating from the UK, the US, Canada and ROW. Cases range from SME to Corporate and professions include Lawyers, Engineering and Miscellaneous.
The Senior Professional Liability Underwriter will be expected to:

  • Analyse risks and underwrite both new and existing business
  • Develop business across multiple territories
  • Build relationships with Brokers, mainly Global and mid-tier
  • Set pricing
  • Review policies
  • Travel on occasion to meet with both Brokers and clients


Applicants must have an extensive underwriting and should have the ability to:

  • Negotiate with Brokers and clients
  • Develop business
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Think creatively
