Senior Project Development Manager London (hybrid & remote work)Utility Scale Solar / BESS Development CompanyI am looking to speak with Senior Project Development Managers to join a fast growing Development Business, specialising in Utility-Scale Solar and Battery Storage projects across the UK.My client are a rapidly growing Development company who have built a strong reputation for themselves across Solar and Battery Storage across the globe with strong activity across Europe and the USA, in addition to the fast growing UK operations.They have built an impressive pipeline of projects and are extremely well-funded to really capitalise on the opportunities on the market.They are looking for experienced, well connected Development Managers who can take initiative and actively source both Co-Development, and Greenfield opportunities to grow their portfolio within the UK.Location: London (hybrid and remote work options considered)Remuneration: £75K - £100K DOE + annual bonusAdditional benefits:Health InsurancePerks such as gym memberships, EV salary sacrifice car allowancePotential for LTIP after 12 months serviceResponsibilities Identify new potential utility-scale projects through various sources including utilizing a data-driven software-based approach to identify land to target.Oversee land acquisition efforts. Involvement in direct landowner negotiations, also managing external land agent partners.Represent the company to external/key stakeholders including local councils and government, officials, consultants, landowners.Manage all aspects of the project development process (land acquisitions, permitting, environmental studies, leading public hearing processes, creating and maintaining relationships with local stakeholders, etc).Work closely with internal company departments (engineering, finance, legal, operations) to identify and minimize project risks. Implement solutions to maximize project value.Work with technical team and external consultants to assist with the grid connection process.Create and manage project budgets and schedules. This includes acting as project lead internally and overseeing external consultants.
