Senior Project Engineer

A world leading manufacturing organisation is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer , to join their Technical Packaging Project team, in Hampshire, on a permanent basis. You will support a variety of projects working in their high-speed packaging facility. You will lead investigation, development, specification, and delivery of advanced automation technology to support business requirements. The essential functions of the position are: Lead multiple cross functional and complex projects, inclusive of equipment builds (Multi-Million pound per machine), complex process changes, facility layout changes and/or EHS improvements. Manages scope, deliverables, risk and resources (internal and external). Lead equipment design & procurement, including developing User Requirement Specifications (URS), vendor and proposal evaluation, (P)FMEA and process mapping creation, conducting Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT and SAT), and coordinating installation activities with vendors. Review and provide recommendations on contractor bids, capabilities, and engineering feasibility of project proposals. Addresses project challenges effectively, evaluating alternatives, proposing, and implementing solutions, and taking corrective action as necessary. In order to be considered for this position, candidates will need a demonstrable track record as a Project Engineer/Snr Project Engineer, within a fast-paced manufacturing/packaging facility. You will also have hands-on experience with highly automated machinery/packaging/robotic equipment. Candidates from a production or process engineering background would be welcomed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
