Senior Project Engineer - Sustainability (Electrical)Sector: Aviation / ConstructionLocation: Hybrid / South EastSalary: Circa £62,000 + Flex Allowance, up to 15% Bonus + Excellent BenefitsProject: Airport Sustainability Programme(Must have eligibility to work in the UK)Ref: SC#758Our Client is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support across a wide portfolio of projects within their Sustainability Programme. This role has involvement in every stage of the project process including ensuring all projects are installed in line with approved designs.You will report into the Programme Design Manager and play a key role in the construction team, responsible for ensuring the design meets needs across varied £multi-million projects, including working in defined sub-programmes on complex projects.Projects across the site will include full boiler replacements, heat source pumps, and integrating charging points for Electrical Vehicles using renewable energy.Skills / Requirements:Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline or education in M&E or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Public Services)Must have a Building Services background.Previous work in decarbonisation of buildings.Experience working for a Design Consultant and / or Design & Build Contractor.Design experience (RIBA Stages 2-4), as well as some site experience (RIBA Stages 5).Experience of large infrastructure projects (rail, airport) are bonus.An understanding of technical and regulatory requirements related to electrical engineering.Experience in electrical design standards.Knowledge of designing solutions integrating renewable energies, EV charging points and battery storage systems is desirable.Experience of coordinating design teams and multi-discipline engineering resources with a particular focus on electrical engineering.
