Senior Project Engineer

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a specialist engineering firm who deliver CAPEX project management and environmental technology services in their search for a Senior Project Engineer.

The company is based in the North east area, demand has come for a Project down in Bristol, the role would require travel down to Bristol to oversee the Project on site.

Key responsibilities of a Senior Project Engineer

• To be aware of all Company Policies, Procedures & Standards and ensure that you implement them in every of your duties, either in our office or on clients sites


• When representing on a clients site ensure regular communication/reporting with both the client and your line manager


• To ensure that you adapt all client policies, procedures & standards and ensure that you implement them in every aspect of your duties


• To ensure company protocols are followed for all expense claims and that submissions are made by the required date with authentic receipts attached


• To provide quotations to existing customers and assist the management team in developing new clients in existing fields of activity and develop new clients


• To assist and support the team as and when required for office and site based locations


• To plan and organise projects, establish key information at kick off meetings, brief out to personnel involved in the project key objectives around programme and financial limitations


• Provide support to the operation and assist in problem solving concerning quality, environmental ad Health and safety issues

Key skills required of a Senior Project Engineer

• Skills both verbal and written communication, negotiation, report writing and presentations


• Team building and motivational skills


• Knowledge of management system standards ISO 9001


• Understand, quality, environmental and health and safety procedures


• Relevant Engineering qualifications


• Planning and Organising
