p strong u Senior Project Manager – Space Imaging /u /strong /p p br br Do you have the skills to fill this role Read the complete details below, and make your application today. br /p p br /p ul li strong Chelmsford (1 day p/w at home) /strong /li li strong £45,000 - £65,000 + benefits /strong /li /ul p br /p p br /p p We are a global leader in specialised components and subsystems for innovative solutions in medical, science, aerospace, defence and industrial applications. /p p br /p p br /p p Working with us will enable you to develop and gain experience in the ideas that are behind some of the most advanced technologies in the world. /p p br /p p br /p p We are looking for a strong Senior Project Manager – Space Imaging /strong with drive and commitment to enhance our project management team, manage strategic R&D and customer funded projects and work with the team to improve management and governance processes. /p p br /p p br /p p strong In this role you will take responsibility for the following - Senior Project Manager /strong /p p br /p p br /p ul li Managing cross-functional teams of engineers and manufacturing staff to deliver projects on time, to cost and quality. /li li Ensuring that effective Project Management techniques are consistently applied and demonstrating adherence to project management process /li li Forge strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated, understood and executed. /li li Detailed scheduling of projects in Microsoft Project and publishing into the MS Project Server system. /li li Agreeing appropriate Phase Gate Reviews for Projects and ensuring they are held in a timely manner. /li li Identification of project risk, issues and dependencies, seeking resolution before escalation. /li li Interfacing with the Finance Team to establish and monitor budget, by ensuring the availability and analysis of relevant data such as schedule derived ETCs and factored risk cost exposure. /li /ul p br /p p br /p p strong Qualifications - Senior Project Manager /strong /p p br /p p br /p ul li To be successful in this role you are likely to have the following skills and experience: /li li Experience of managing projects through all or part of the lifecycle from bid to production, with an emphasis on production. /li li Demonstrable experience of energising teams to meet critical timescales and deliver projects. /li li Ability to manage customer expectations and avoid unwanted scope creep. /li li Good understanding of risk management and how this is used to manage a project. /li /ul
