Senior Project Manager

An award-winning main contractor delivering major residential projects across the UK are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take the reigns on a £40m refurb project in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic time to join a reputable contractor with an annual turnover in access of £150m and continued expansion. The successful candidate will lead the project reporting to an experienced Project Director. Project Manager Responsibilities Provide a professional link between the design department, commercial team and site team Produce accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information Act as the main interface with the client Survey sites to mitigate problems and check viability of design Ensure the product meets customer expectations concerning build and finish Manage and coordinate sub-contract and direct labour workforces Provide labour costing for various projects to determine feasibility and profitability Customer relationship management to ensure customer satisfaction Supervise and coach staff as and when development is required Education / Experience: Previous experience of running £40m projects working for a main contractor Commercially aware with extensive knowledge of all disciplines involved in the construction process including design coordination, quantity surveying and procurement A planned and proven career path in Construction Management In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and other regulatory matters Excellent analytical and decision-making skills Excellent written and oral presentation skills IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages To take advantage of this fantastic opportunity apply below or send your CV directly to charliesaltergrange.com.
