The RoleEvident is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects to support our work in certifying the Clean Economy. This role will regularly collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. The post holder will implement robust monitoring systems, manage risks, and adhere to project management protocols. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will support solution development, procurement strategies, and maintain compliance with governance standards.What you’ll do The main duties of the Senior Project Manager are: Execute projects to meet stakeholder requirements, ensuring alignment with our goals.Implement and maintain a robust project monitoring system to track progress and ensure adherence to schedule and budget.Manage project scope to deliver desired outcomes within specified deadlines and budget constraints.Adhere to established project management policies, protocols, and financial tools.Develop and implement comprehensive project support plans.Work with technical teams to successfully execute projects.Employ risk management and issue resolution techniques to minimise project delivery liabilities.Assume accountability throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring governance compliance and fostering stakeholder engagement.Support the development of solutions aligned with project objectives, including preparing clear business cases.Define optimal procurement strategies and oversee the production of specifications and contract documentation.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects, meeting targets.About YouYou will:Possess a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.Demonstrate proven experience in project management, preferably in the certification or renewable energy sector.Have well established experience in developing and maintaining project schedules, allocating resources efficiently, and adapting plans as needed to accommodate changes.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Be proficient in risk management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement practices.Be skilled in building and maintaining strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders, with capability to incorporate their input into project plans and execution to enhance customer satisfaction. Have experience in navigating cross-cultural dynamics and fostering inclusivity to create an environment where all team members feel valued and respected.Possess excellent communication, negotiation, organisation, and leadership skills. Package DescriptionSalary: Around £55 – 64k per annum (FTE) depending on experience. Hours of work: Full time, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday with a one-hour lunch break. WFH is offered 1 day per week.
