Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager required for a leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland. They are actively seeking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join their existing team for a range of projects across the life science, commercial and education sector.

Responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Understanding the contract requirements as set out by the tender documentation.
• Lead the Subcontractor procurement process and ensure subcontractors are appointed correctly.
• Complete frequent commercial reviews in respect to aspects of cot & value of the project.
• Work closely with the pre-construction team particularly with the development of tender project programme. And, develop construction logistical plans.
• Ensuring Site Management are sufficiently trained.
• Oversee all administrative aspects of the project.
• Manage and build positive working relationships with the client.
• Conduct a daily safety briefing.
• Understand Health & Safety legislation as well as the company H&S policy.
• Confirm all quality standard are understood by the project team and delivered on site successfully.
